Photo des Tages- MW wine!
The winery I played for last night surprised me bigtime! Big thanks Kastanienhof Bisch and Gottwald Winery! They made 200 bottles of a private reserve red wine with my name on it. Pretty fun.

Have some fun press from one of the shows! One correction is the writer thought I was using computer loops etc but it’s all done live. Anyway. German and English translation below!
Discovering the roots: Marcus Wolf in the Kaffehaus Hagen
By Uwe Deecke – September 26, 2011
Heilbronn – Singer, songwriter, guitarist, expert in the art of living this is Marcus Wolf. Usually he is on tour with David Garrett, if he is not working on an album in his New York studio. “Mirror” is the most recent, with which the American just tours in Germany and one stop was Kaffeehaus Hagen. It shows that Neil Young is his role model; sensitive and melancholy are the pieces. But Wolf has studied guitar and can also be different.
An instrumental piece sounds almost like Al di Meola. His version of “If You Want Me To Stay” blows you off your feet; Wolf impressed with a strong and mutable voice. He has even more in his program, to which – as he joked – the setlist is missing. Just like that, he plays a Blues song – “the big belly” should be thought to it, the New Yorker smiles.
In “Better Than You”, he sings of the importance of money, a fast piece, that falls out of the frame. “Little Wing” can not be missed: in his solo version it becomes an individual song by creating loops with his pedal board which sounds terrific.
Likable this multi-talent is who has also an answer to the noisy kids. His MP3-Player ensures silence, and Wolf can keep going. Because his father is from Mainz, he is about to discover his roots. Presumably you will find him more often on stage here in Germany. It is worth it.
